MTOW Landing Charge
Up to 2000kg $6.00 plus GST $6.75 incl GST
2001 to 3000kg $10.00 plus GST $11.25 incl GST
3001 to 6000kg $15.00 plus GST $16.87 incl GST
Over 6001kg $30.00 plus GST $33.75 incl GST
NOTE: The landing charge for aircraft up to 2000kg is reducible to $5.00 (inclusive of GST) if paid in cash at the hood aerodrome Wairarapa Limited on the day of landing. A tow plane and glider shall be charged as one aircraft landing. “Touch and Go” practice landing circuits shall be charged as one landing only. A 20% discount shall be allowed for the above landing charges paid in advance.
Users of aircraft domiciled at the airport (with the exception of commercial operators who operate scheduled services) and other Wairarapa based operators may pay the following annual fees in lieu of landing charges.
Annual Landing Fees
Microlight owners $50.00 plus GST per aircraft owner
(not members of SAA)
Individual non-commercial owners $100.00 plus GST per aircraft owner
(not members of SAA)
Commercial operators $300.00 plus GST for the first aircraft
$100.00 plus GST for each additional aircraft
New Zealand Sport & Vintage $300.00 plus GST for all aircraft
Aviation Society
Sport Aviation Association $300.00 plus GST for all aircraft
Model Aircraft Club $200.00 plus GST for all aircraft
Helicopter Operators $50.00 plus GST per helicopter
